Flower Boy is a Sydney based solo artist and producer who brings fresh sounds inspired by the life, landscapes, and love of inner-city Beijing and Shanghai. Though classically trained in piano from a young age, her favorite musical moments involve Chinese folk songs sung by her grandfather, the delight of playing a glockenspiel for the first time, and finding tunes that embody the feeling of love.

Born in 1994 in Sydney, Flower Boy spent most of the first two years of her life growing up in China. Though she does not remember this period of time in her life, an undoubtedly deep connection formed, playing a huge role in the aesthetics of her music. Currently, Flower Boy spends her time between Australia and China, navigating “in-between” places such as airports and Airbnbs. Within these places she delicately extracts a sense of loneliness and displacement present in her tracks. Along the way, she also collects stories from those she meets, and incorporates them into the Flower Boy narrative.

Dark, nostalgic, and moody motifs combined with eclectic percussion, Flower Boy’s music is a rough diamond that does not want to be polished. With diverse influences ranging from Chopin to Brian Eno, to London label PC Music, Flower Boy is one to watch.

卓颖贤是个来自澳大利亚悉尼的人乐手与制作人。她一段时间住在中国北京和上海，以后影响她的作品给它们一个代表生活，旅行和爱情的感觉。虽然她小的时候学习钢琴，但是她最喜欢的音乐记忆是听他爷爷唱民谣歌曲，还有第一次打钟琴也自己发现包括爱情感觉歌曲。

她是在悉尼出生，童年1～2岁在中国正大。最近她在澳洲但有时候回中国。她经常会在机场或者Airbnb住宿会有一个流离失所和孤独的情绪，把这些遇到的感觉放在她音乐里的故事。
她音乐风格混合黑暗与怀旧的主题折衷打击乐器在一起。卓颖贤的音乐是一个不嫌被研磨的毛坯钻石。她的影响包括肖邦，Brian Eno还有英国伦敦厂牌PC Music。
